Jeff Keough, CPA
Jeff Keough, CPA, CA, is experienced in all areas of accounting, assurance, information systems and taxation. He has a strong background in auditing, including evaluating and strengthening controls, and is a former Certified Informations System Auditor (CISA). His previous experience working with the Provincial Auditor General’s office as well as Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) helps assist clients to assess audit risk and navigate audits and reviews from CRA efficiently and effectively.
Jeff’s practice consists of personal and corporate clients seeking business advice, tax preparation, tax planning, financing options, business plans, and assurance services. Jeff has a great deal of experience in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), assisting clients in preparing financial statements and assurance reports for successful presentation to Immigration PEI.

When Jeff is not helping clients, he enjoys time with his family, coaching hockey, and staying active. He resides in Mermaid, PE, with his wife, Krista and their 3 children, Max, Macie and Tommy.

Greg O’Brien, CPA
With over ten years of accounting, tax, and advisory experience, Greg has helped many small, medium, and large sized businesses. Greg specializes in tax and estate planning with a focus on buying and selling businesses, transitioning businesses between family members, and estate planning. In addition to being a Chartered Professional Accountant, Greg has completed the in-depth tax course which is the most comprehensive income tax training program available in Canada. Greg is currently working towards his Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation which will allow him to provide tailored estate planning solutions for his clients.
Outside of work, Greg spends a lot of time with his family and friends. His other interests include sports, exercising, and is involved with the Charlottetown Knights U18 hockey club.

Jeremy Koughan, CPA
Jeremy is a dynamic and forward-thinking Chartered Professional Accountant who has quickly risen to the position of Partner at KOS CPA. Born and raised on Prince Edward Island, Jeremy has a passion for numbers and finance. He enjoys building strong relationships with his clientele.
Jeremy is committed to his profession and is actively involved as a board member in various not-for-profit organizations. He is also passionate about mentoring young professionals in the accounting field, sharing his knowledge and experiences to inspire the next generation of accountants.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Gerry provides expert advice in business valuation, mergers and acquisition (M&A) and expert work for litigation support in the event of marital breakdown, buyout or shareholder dispute.
As an experienced Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Gerry is often called in to assist when knowing BUSINESS VALUE really matters.
Gerry has advised on hundreds of business transactions across Prince Edward Island and Atlantic Canada. Whether you are a business owner preparing for a sale or looking for KOS to lead your go to market exit, Gerry is ready to help. Gerry has helped facilitate and close deals for businesses in all industries, while managing all aspects of the transaction, including preparing the business for sale, shopping to qualified buyers, negotiation and deal structuring.
In addition to his M&A practice, Gerry has worked with many start-ups in the TMT sector, early stage companies as well as incubator groups including Propel ICT, LaunchPad PEI and Start-up Zone PEI.
Gerry is an Author and past Instructor of the University of Prince Edward Island’s Financial Management Certificate Program (2015-2019). He has also presented at many Atlantic Canadian events focusing on business succession, M&A and valuation.
Gerry is active in the community within his profession, having served on a number of volunteer boards and not-for-profits including Synapse Applied Industry Services, Special Olympics PEI and PMHA Memorial Tournament.
Outside of work, Gerry enjoys time with family and coaching minor hockey and baseball in Stratford. He resides in Stratford, PE with his wife Willena and their son Rhett.
